Riverstones

In my River Stones series I take my inspiration from nature, trying to create pieces with an organic feel. Whenever I walk along the river near my house, or along the lake front, I am drawn to the perfectly rounded and polished stones I find there. My collection of stones is my starting point for this series. In the work I contrast the translucent rounded shapes with an opaque background.
